Vid Digger was originally created to archive music videos for personal viewing due to the reality TV shows and ringtone commercials that has corrupted music television, but after discovering that it developed a small audience back in March when StatCounter was added, it's open to requests.
Vid Digger showcases music videos found on YouTube from the 50's to present, with lyrics, the songs description, and links to more info about the song and artist on Wikipedia.
Music videos requested are searched for on YouTube. Once published, shout-outs to the requestee are then posted below the music videos description. No real name or location is needed to make a request, but if a viewer has a blog, a link to it is added to the music video post, which will help improve their blogs ranking on various search engines and sites like Google and Technorati.
