The two thousand policemen in charge of the security in the stadium were driven mad by the screaming crowd. Fans were screaming all along the show and could hear almost nothing from the Beatles' performance, which was also a problem for The Beatles who could neither hear what they played since the fans were louder than their 100 Watt speakers.
"Ticket to Ride" was originally released on their album "Help!". It was recorded 15 February 1965 at Abbey Road Studios and released as a single that year.
