Today I found out Google locked a blog I just created "Nostradamus 3.0" stating I violated Blogger's Terms of Service when I haven't even published an entry or even developed a blog template. I've done a search with Google and checked it's domain name through GoDaddy.com and came up with nothing, which prompted me to obtain this blog name "Nostradamus 3.0" since I wasn't stepping on anyones toes and it was available. Sad the people at Google didn't research this using their own service.

Google stated in my account dashboard "You may not publish new posts until your blog is reviewed and unlocked," but like I stated above, I haven't published anything! What the hell are they smoking?!!!

I requested a review of Nostradamus 3.0 since Google threatened to delete my undeveloped blog within 20 days. Has this happened to anyone else? I hope this doesn't have anything to do with the New York Times article I linked to at the top of my blog. All I wanted to do was to create a humorous virtual Nostradamus, not based on death and destruction, but the complete opposite.

Google, I'll appreciate it if you unlock my blog Nostradamus 3.0, and for the future, until CERN brings back the real Nostradamus from the past so you could put him on your payroll, don't jump to conclusions locking and deleting other blogs assuming they might break your Terms of Service! Wait for something illegal to happen before you play Big Brother!

Update: I just discovered an email Google's Blogger Team sent me, accusing my blog of being a potential spam blog. POTENTIAL! You see kids, that's why you should say no to drugs, unless you're applying for a job at Google.

Dear Blogger user,

This is a message from the Blogger team.

Your blog, at http://nostradamus-v3.blogspot.com/, has been identified as a potential spam blog. For an explanation of what spam blogs are, please see Blogger Help: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=42577

You will not be able to publish posts to your blog until we review your site and confirm that it is not a spam blog. To request a review, please fill out the form found here: http://www.blogger.com/unlock-blog.g?lockedBlogID=7184595901704993536

We will take a look at your blog and unlock it within four business days. Please note that if we do not hear from you within 20 days, we will remove your blog. If this blog does not belong to you, then you do not have to do anything. Any other blogs you may have will not be affected.

Since you are an actual person reading this, your blog is probably not spam. We find spam by using an automated classifier. Automatic spam detection is inherently fuzzy, and occasionally a blog is flagged incorrectly. We sincerely apologize for this erroneous result. By using this kind of system, however, we can dedicate more storage, bandwidth, and engineering resources to users like you instead of to spammers.

Thank you for your understanding and for your help in our spam-fighting efforts.

Sincerely,

The Blogger Team
